Community Hub Co-ordinator

Community Hub Co-ordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a Community Hub Co-ordinator to sustain, grow, and manage the Dukesgate Community Hub. This welcoming and inclusive space supports school families and local residents by fostering connection, providing resources, and enabling them to empower themselves in shaping their communities.

As a community-focused leader, you will collaborate closely with:

  • The Senior Youth and Community Development Lead for Marlborough Road and Dukesgate Community Hubs
  • Staff at Dukesgate Academy
  • Your equivalent at Marlborough Road Hub
  • United Communities and local partners

You will drive the hub’s strategy, ensuring it reflects local needs and builds on existing strengths by empowering residents, volunteers, and partners to initiate activities while providing the coordination to support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering the hub’s programmes
  • Strengthening partnerships and managing bookings
  • Tracking and reporting on community impact
  • Maintaining the hub’s digital presence (social media) under United Communities’ guidelines
  • Adapting to flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, to align with community needs.

This role is part of a national network of school-linked youth and community practitioners dedicated to belonging, trust-building, and community self-determination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by encouraging community ownership, enabling volunteers, residents, and partners to take initiative while providing necessary organisational support.
  • Coordinate and manage the hub’s operations, including programme scheduling, partnership development, and impact assessment.
  • Develop a strong social media presence and digital communication strategy to amplify the hub’s reach.
  • Work flexibly across organisations, supporting volunteers and facilitating cross-team collaboration.
  • Build trust, credibility, and long-term sustainability of the community hub.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
