Are you an enthusiastic, forward-thinking nurse who can adapt to changing priorities and deliver high quality nursing care?
The Purbeck Community Learning Disability Team is staffed by a passionate and dedicated team and is looking for a like-minded nurse to join us. This is an excellent opportunity to practice within the challenging yet rewarding field of community learning disability nursing.
Working part time (22.5hrs per week)
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their commitment to work proactively and in partnership with people with learning disabilities, their families and carers and support them to live successfully in the community.
Responsibilities
- Maintain effective links with mainstream services
- Work in partnership with colleagues and supporting equal access to healthcare
- Improve outcomes for our service users
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in supporting the health needs and health promotion to support and empower people with a Learning disability

Working Environment
- Work directly alongside existing nurses, trainee nurse associate, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Combination of virtual and in-person contacts with professionals and service users
- Electronic clinical documentation with training provided to all new staff
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 9-5
Essential Requirements
- Ability to drive a car and have access to a car for business purposes
