The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate, high-energy Community Manager to build, nurture, and scale a massive global community of music lovers. This is an incredible opportunity to work with an international company and connect with an audience from all corners of the world.
In this role, you will be the heartbeat of ROVR’s listener base, setting up and maintaining our presence on existing platforms while expanding into new channels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish & Maintain Communities: Build, manage, and continuously engage ROVR’s listener community across existing platforms, specifically Discord, Reddit, Twitch, X, and Instagram.
- Expand to New Channels: Strategize, launch, and seed community presence in emerging and new social and community platforms.
- Be the Voice of ROVR: Act as the main bridge between the company and our users - moderating discussions, sparking meaningful conversations, and keeping the community vibrant and active.
- Foster Culture: Design and execute community-first activations, virtual events, and discussions tailored to alternative music fans.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Content and Curation teams to ensure community feedback is shared, and that our musical narrative aligns with community engagement.
Who You Are (Requirements):
- Music Expert: A deep, profound, and authentic knowledge of alternative music and its subcultures. You don't just listen to it - you live and breathe musical culture.
- Proven Community Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on, practical experience managing and scaling active online communities, with a proven track record on Discord, Reddit, Twitch, X, and Instagram.
- A True "People Person": Highly empathetic, communicative, and natural at building relationships. You know how to vibe with a crowd and manage diverse online personalities.
- Language Proficiency: Native-level or exceptionally high proficiency in English (both written and verbal) is strictly required, as you will be interacting with a global audience daily.
- International Industry Experience (Advantage): Prior experience working with international record labels, music festivals, or global music organizations/media bodies is a significant advantage.
- Driven & Proactive: Highly organized, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and motivated by a genuine passion for music and technology.
