Community Lead - the hottest community in AI | Remote (US or UK)

Read this properly before applying, this is not a standard community manager job.

We're hiring the first-ever Community Lead for one of the biggest names in AI.

They've built the audience and the events - but never built the community. So you won't inherit a system, you'll build it from scratch and own it.

You'll run the meetups, launch the ambassador program, and live in Discord, X and LinkedIn - becoming the person this community belongs to.

Transparency: this is intense. A fast-moving founder, a small team that works hard, and events that demand long days. Priorities shift by the hour and there's no playbook. If you want calm and predictable, this isn't it.

This is a deep community role - not an events or hackathon role. If your world is running hackathons and demo days, or you want a head-of-a-team seat, this isn't the one.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

But if you're the right person, it's a rare opportunity.

You'll have a front-row seat to the hottest AI community in the world, work alongside the people actually building the future, and grow more in a year here than in 5 anywhere else.

This is a career-maker for a community builder who's ready for it.

What you should have

  • 5+ years building developer or tech communities from 0 - an ambassador program, a meetup network, a community people genuinely belonged to
  • You lead with a strategy - you walk in and say "here's what's working, here's what's failing, here's what I'd prioritise," not wait to be told
  • Technical enough to be one of them - you read and talk code, live in GitHub and Discord, and developers see you as a peer
  • Genuinely in the AI scene - RAG, agents, MCP, the frameworks, the people - because you want to be, not because it's shiny
  • Genuinely AI-savvy - you build your own workflows and automations (Claude, Claude Code, agents), not just use ChatGPT
  • High agency: you close loops before being asked. Calm in chaos, sharp on priorities.
