If you combine a genuine passion for the outdoors with a natural flair for community building and storytelling, we'd love to hear from you.

TimeOutdoors is on a mission to build the UK's biggest community for people who want to get outdoors, be active and build a habit that makes them feel better all year round. We work with charities, event organisers and adventure providers including some of the biggest and most recognisable brands in the sector, helping them reach new audiences for their events, challenges and trips.

We're a small, close-knit team based in Yorkshire, punching well above our weight. If you're passionate about the outdoors and want your work to make a real difference, read on.

THE ROLE

We already have 000's of people using the site to find local events, sign up to their next personal challenge, join a charity team for events like the Great North Run for a cause that matters to them or seek adventures further afield. And later this year our community One Million Challenge will reach its target of 1 million hours spent outdoors - a milestone event.

All of this is already happening - your job is to give it a voice and turn that momentum into stories. You'll sit at the intersection of content, community and marketing, inspiring people with authentic stories that make them want to get active outdoors. You'll own our community, our voice and our stories - doing what only someone embedded in the community can do.

What success looks like

  • The website becomes a thriving community platform for people of all ages and abilities who want to put outdoor activity at the heart of a healthy, active lifestyle.
  • Community stories act as a source of inspiration to other people looking to get active outdoors and help to add real value to our advertisers and partners.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Own and build the community

  • Own our social media channels — Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and beyond — with a consistent, inspiring presence.
  • Respond to, celebrate and amplify community activity — sign ups, finish lines, fundraising targets, challenges, club spotlights, personal bests.
  • Create and manage an email newsletter that keeps our audience informed, motivated and connected.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
