Community Mental Health Nurse (Ref: 251765)

Full Time 36 hours per week
Band 6 - Salary Range £43,231 - £52,679 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,578 per annum
Relocation package of up to £8000
This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for an experienced mental health nurse to join our dynamic Community Mental Health Team. We are looking for registered nurses RMN, with relevant nursing experience in community settings, crisis teams and ideally in rural areas. Post graduate education would be advantageous. The post holder will build on existing experience as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering best-practice, evidenced-based interventions to individuals who require mental health support and treatment. They will have a sound working knowledge and understanding of current Mental Health policy and legislation. The post holder will undertake assessments of individual need; development, implementation and evaluation of individually planned care together with other members of the multidisciplinary team and partner agencies.

The post holder will be part of a team who provide both scheduled and unscheduled care which supports patients who require immediate input. Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of multi-agency working are essential.
There will be requirement to take part in the on-call rota.
