Registered Mental Health Nurse – Wimborne Adult CMHT
We are excited to recruit a registered Mental Health Nurse to join the Wimborne Adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT).
We welcome applicants who are passionate about recovery-oriented care, prioritise a person-centred approach, and thrive in a close-knit, collaborative team environment.
You will receive strong support in your clinical practice, professional development, and ongoing supervision from the Team Leader.
Role Overview

Provide specialist mental health care, including:
- Assessments
- Interventions
- Treatments
- Caseload management as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Deliver care with a high-quality, person-centred focus while upholding safety, privacy, and dignity.

Note: Experience in community mental health is beneficial but not essential.
Key Responsibilities

Work as a member of an integrated multi-disciplinary team, which includes:
- Psychiatrists
- Nurses
- Other mental health practitioners
- Support Time Recovery Workers
- Business support and psychology team

Assess and monitor patients in their homes and community settings (requirements a valid driving licence and access to a car).

Provide evidence-based, high-quality care tailored to individual needs.
Requirements
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (you must be on the NMC register)
- Enhanced DBS check (covered by the Trust; existing DBS Update Service subscribers can present valid certificates)
- Essential IT literacy
- Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).
