We have a great opportunity for a part-time Band 6 Nurse with the Older Adults Mental Health Team based in Eastbourne, East Sussex.

The successful candidate will join a friendly, highly-skilled, and enthusiastic multi-professional team. We will take a keen interest in helping you to develop the skills important to this role, and the post-holder will be encouraged to develop special interests and expertise in line with service and team objectives.

You will be part of a highly-skilled and supportive multi-disciplinary team based in Eastbourne. You will receive regular managerial and clinical supervision. This is challenging work, but we receive very positive feedback from our service users and carers. Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has recently achieved outstanding for the care it provides.

The post holder will be expected to travel across the geographical area of Eastbourne, which is covered by the team. The ability to travel to remote areas is essential.

This post will involve working with older people with complex mental health needs. You will be expected to support both the client and their carers. You will also need to be able to work cohesively with other services both within our Trust and with other partner agencies. We follow a multi-disciplinary approach, and within that context, you will manage a caseload of older adults.
