Full-Time Band 6 Nurse Opportunity

We have a great opportunity for a full-time band 6 nurse to work with the Dementia & Older People’s Mental Health Team based in Worthing, West Sussex.

About the Role

The service provides an Intensive Support service for those experiencing crisis operating a 9-5pm, 7 days a week including Bank Holidays and a Lead Practitioner role where the post holder manages their own caseload working 9-5 Mon- Friday excluding B/H's.

Responsibilities

  • Join a friendly, highly skilled and enthusiastic multi professional team.
  • Help you to develop the skills important to this role.
  • Encouraged to develop special interests and expertise in line with service and team objectives.
  • Part of a highly skilled and supportive multi-disciplinary team.
  • Receive regular managerial and clinical supervision.
  • Travel across the Adur, Arun & Worthing area covered by the team.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel to remote areas is essential.
  • Previous Applicants need not apply.

About You

We are looking for individuals who are dynamic, compassionate, good communicators who are able to demonstrate a holistic and person-centred approach to their work.

  • Work cohesively with other services both within our Trust, and with other partner agencies.
  • Follow a multi-disciplinary approach and within that context manage a caseload of older adults.
