Full-Time Band 6 Nurse Opportunity
About the Role
We have a great opportunity for a full-time band 6 nurse to work in Dementia & Older People’s Mental Health Team based in Worthing, West Sussex. The service provides an Intensive Support service for those experiencing a crisis operating from 9-5pm, 7 days a week, including Bank Holidays. The post also includes a Lead Practitioner role where the post holder manages their own caseload, working 9-5 Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will join a friendly, highly skilled, and enthusiastic multi-professional team. We are committed to helping you develop the skills important to this role. The post-holder will be encouraged to develop special interests and expertise in line with service and team objectives. You will be part of a highly skilled and supportive multi-disciplinary team. You will receive regular managerial and clinical supervision. This is a challenging but rewarding role as we receive positive feedback from our service users and carers.

- Travel across the Adur, Arun & Worthing area covered by the team.
- Ability to travel to remote areas is essential.
Requirements
- Dynamic, compassionate, good communicator.
- Demonstrate a holistic and person-centred approach to their work.
- Ability to work cohesively with other services both within our Trust, and with other partner agencies.
- Manage a caseload of older adults within a multi-disciplinary approach.
