This role is offered on a permanent basis. The hours are up to 34 per week with a mix of nights and twilight shifts, also an internal secondment may be considered.

We deliver community nursing services to patients requiring unplanned care in the evenings and overnight. We are co-located with the Integrated Urgent Care Service - out-of-hours GP and the Rapid Response team. This role will support patients requiring community nursing services in the out-of-hours period from 7pm until 8am.
We pride ourselves on fostering a positive and inclusive culture, our team is dedicated to supporting one another, offering guidance and mentorship to support new starters in role. We offer a supportive induction and are committed to professional development.
The post holder would be expected to work night shifts (10pm until 8am) with some twilight shifts (7pm until 1am). The service operates over a seven-day period and the post holder will be expected to work some weekends and bank holidays. As a trust, we have an excellent flexible working policy and work in partnership with our staff to meet the needs of the service.

We are a modern trust, which means whilst on the go, you'll be equipped for mobile working (using a laptop and smartphone device); not only is this safer because you will have access to all patient information at your fingertips, it also means you can complete records and any other patient paperwork in real time, so you can then focus all your attention on your next patient.
