Role Description
The Community Outreach Coordinator volunteer will support remote community engagement initiatives that advance Healix’s healthcare innovation mission. This role includes planning and coordinating outreach activities, building relationships with community partners, and engaging universities, hospitals, and research organizations in Healix programs. The coordinator will develop clear communication materials, manage online events or information sessions, and support volunteer recruitment and engagement where needed. Day-to-day tasks involve organizing digital outreach campaigns, documenting interactions, gathering feedback from stakeholders, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging. This is a remote volunteer role that offers flexible hours and exposure to global healthcare innovation efforts.

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Cooperation to build and maintain inclusive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for community-facing materials and virtual events.
- Candidates should possess Community Outreach experience or skills in organizing initiatives, campaigns, or programs that engage external partners and communities.
- Candidates should possess Volunteer Management skills, such as coordinating volunteers, providing guidance, and supporting engagement and retention.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with healthcare, social impact, or nonprofit initiatives; familiarity with digital collaboration tools; strong organizational and time-management skills; and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- A background in public health, social work, communications, or related fields is an advantage but not required; passion for healthcare innovation and community impact is highly valued.
