Podiatry Graduate Apprenticeship – Joining Sirona Care & Health

About the Role

Responsibilities
Key duties include:

Autonomous patient case management (with supervision):
- Delivering tissue viability, mobility, and independence interventions for high-risk and acute foot care patients.
- Providing expert assessments, diagnoses, and tailored care plans (e.g. diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, biomechanical issues, neuropathies & wound care*).

Load management under senior mentorship:
- Planning your own caseload, including specialist care (neurological, vascular, wound cases).
- Screening high-risk patients for foot health concerns (neurological and vascular).

Clinical referral & guidance pathways:
- Assessing patient suitability, signposting, and working closely with mentors/senior podiatrists.
- Managing domestic visits across the region.

Patient-centred communication:
- Advocating care plans to patients/carers, overcoming barriers.
- Providing foot health education and group advice.
