Community Safety Officer

Community Safety Officer – Permanent Role

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Community Safety Officer to join our friendly team on a permanent basis.

About the Role

This is an exciting time to join our organisation as we have recently transitioned into a regional model, allowing us to focus on our local presence and ensure our neighbourhoods remain safe places where people want to live.

We’re committed to placing our customers at the heart of everything we do, with their safety and welfare as our top priority—and that’s where your impact will be key.

As a Community Safety Officer, you will:

  • Handle a varied and challenging caseload, with no two days the same.
  • Respond to a range of issues, including:
    • Tackling anti-social behaviour
    • Supporting victims of domestic abuse
    • Progressing legal matters through the court process
  • Proactively build relationships with colleagues across internal teams and external agencies, including attending multi-agency meetings as required.
  • Conduct regular visits to customers in their homes and wider neighbourhoods. Miles will be reimbursed appropriately.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
