Community Staff Nurse - Part Time

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse

The Crawley Healthy and First Community Primary Care Network Team is looking for a registered nurse to join the team. We are based at Crawley Hospital covering Crawley and Horley.

About the Role

If you are newly registered or looking for a new challenge, Community Nursing offers a great opportunity to specialise in a highly diverse and rewarding field. Community nursing offers the applicants many specialties in one role.

Any successful applicants will have an individual induction plan to ease into this community environment.

Key Details

  • Hours: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week
  • Location: Crawley Hospital, covering Crawley and Horley
  • Visa Sponsorship: This role is unlikely to be eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship due to recent changes in UK immigration and visa rules. Applicants who do not currently have the right to work in the UK may not be considered. Candidates requiring sponsorship should review the eligibility criteria on the gov.uk website before applying to assess their eligibility for a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities

The main aspects of the role include:

  • Diabetic management
  • Wound management, including leg ulcers diagnosis and treatment
  • Palliative care
  • Bladder and bowel care, including urethral and supra pubic catheters and other continence needs
