Community Staff Nurse

12 month fixed term contract, come and try community nursing

We are looking for an experienced registered adult nurse, to thrive in our community Nursing workforce. Our Community Nursing teams take pride in the positive impact they have on patients' lives every day. You will become an expert clinician in wound care, palliative care, continence care, and the care of patients with long-term conditions. With vacancies in Nottingham West we offer a great location with mixed rural and urban areas. During your days off, explore nearby Sherwood Forest, the legendary home of Robin Hood, or immerse yourself in the vibrant and dynamic atmosphere of Nottingham City and the many other attractions of Nottinghamshire.

Join us as a Band 5 Staff Nurse, in a position for a 12-month fixed-term position. Our service operates from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, offering flexibility in working hours. An additional team of Nurses and HCA's offer a robust, reactive evening and night Nursing team.

You will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care and will work flexibly supporting the team to deliver high-quality integrated care.

You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be adaptable, reliable, resourceful, and approachable.

Providing integrated care following a holistic assessment, which enables patients to be cared for in their own homes and clinic settings. You will facilitate the prevention of unnecessary hospital admission/re-admission by reducing the effects of ill health and disability and maximizing the individual's potential for independence.

A robust induction and competency-based development package will be provided.

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.

You are encouraged to enroll for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
