Community Support Navigator

What will the role look like?

Barca Community Support Navigators work in an outreach capacity supporting people who are or have been homeless and have a history of rough sleeping. They work intensively with small caseloads, taking a person-centered approach to build a relationship. Navigators work closely with a range of providers spread across various work streams including the local authority, criminal justice systems, health systems, local policing teams and local community networks. They are an integral part of the Safer Leeds Street Outreach Support Team and work in partnership to produce the best outcomes for the people they are working with.

What we are looking for?

We’re looking for a compassionate, resilient, and people-focused professional who can build trust with individuals facing homelessness and multiple disadvantages, work collaboratively with partners across the city, and provide intensive, trauma-informed support to help people sustain accommodation, re-engage with services, and move towards safer, more independent lives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
