**Support Worker (Adult Disability Domiciliary Care) |

West Lancashire District**

│ Salary Range: £25,949 - £25,989 per annum (pro-rata where applicable) | Hours: Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week) | Additional Pay: 33% weekend increment, 50% bank holiday increment, £38.55 sleep-in allowance

About the Role

Do you want to make a difference to the lives of adults with disabilities? We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible individuals who would enjoy supporting adults with disabilities to live their ideal lives.

The Adult Disability Domiciliary Service provides around-the-clock care, including sleep-in duties and weekend shifts (both withIncremental pay).

Key aspects of the role:

  • Assisting individuals with learning disabilities in their own homes
  • Comprehensive daily support covering personal care, health needs, and social activities (e.g., swimming, shopping)
  • Managing finances, administering medication, and facilitating meaningful local experiences
  • Works closely with a person-centred ethos, ensuring every individual is supported with dignity and respect

Key Accountabilities

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Support adults with disabilities, including those with profound and complex needs, using a person-centred approach to achieve mutually agreed goals in their care plan.
  • Offer dignified, compassionate support for daily living needs (including personal care).
  • Encourage engagement with the community (e.g., leisure activities, shopping, sports, social events).
  • Ensure full compliance with legislation, service policies, and safeguarding guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience preferred but not mandatory: Work with adults with learning disabilities. Training and support will be provided.
  • Training Required: Applicants without an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care must complete the QCF Level 3 Diploma within the first two years. (Funded by the Service)
