Job Description
Salary £25,949- £25,989 | Part time, Permanent | 37 hours per week | Adult Disability Domiciliary Service | West, Lancashire
Key Accountabilities
- To support people with disabilities, including individuals with profound and complex needs, using person centred approaches to enable people to achieve positive outcomes as defined in their support plan.
- To support people with dignity and respect in order to meet their day-to-day needs, including personal care supports.
- To support individuals to access a range of opportunities and experiences, either from their own home or in a community setting, including for example swimming, walking, bowling, dancing, shopping etc.
- To work in accordance with relevant national legislation and service specific policies and practice guidelines at all times.
Skills And Experience
- Experience of working with adults who have a learning disability is desirable but not essential as you will be given the necessary support and training to undertake this role.
- Applicants who do not hold NVQ Level 3 at the time of appointment will be required to complete QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care* within the first 2 years of employment (where applicable) *Please note this training will be funded by the Service.
