Community Support Worker – Adult Disability Wyre Domiciliary Service, Fleetwood
Salary: £25,949 – £25,989 per annum Status: Full Time, Permanent | Pro Rata Availability
Location: Fleetwood (Adult Disability Service, Wyre Domiciliary Service) - International sponsorship not applicable
We are recruiting Community Support Workers to join Lancashire County Council's Adult Disability Domiciliary Service. This role is part of a permanent, full-time vacancy within a tier-1 shortage occupation and is not open to international sponsorship applicants.
About the Role
You will provide companion care, support, and assistance to individuals who require help living independently. Your role could see you assisting people to:
- Learn new skills
- Gain support in their home or the community
- Receive help for older adults, people with disabilities, or those with care requirements

Responsibilities
As a Community Support Worker, you’ll take on essential tasks including:
- Providing personal care, companionship, and emotional support
- Assisting with daily living tasks (hygiene, meal preparation, mobility, etc.)
- Offering skill development and confidence-building activities
- Working in the community as well as within private residences
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of care professionals
