Job Purpose
To provide inspiring leadership for the Community Teams.
This will involve continuing to deliver local leadership that will realise the national vision as set out within Better Births (2016). Improved outcomes and experiences will be achieved through safe, high quality care based on relationships of mutual trust and respect in line with women’s decisions.
Job Information
- Provide high quality, evidence-based care.
- To enable midwives in small teams to support women throughout the antenatal and postnatal periods within the community setting.
- The post-holder will provide managerial responsibility for the teams across a seven-day service, including weekends and bank holidays, and will be required to manage budgets at team level.
Main Duties
- Leadership and management of community teams.
- Participation in the Manager of the Day Rota.
- Clinical case-loading and on-calls.
