Job Title: Company Commercial Solicitor

PQE: 5+ PQE

Location: Suffolk

Salary: £Dependent on experience

The Role

A highly regarded regional practice is looking to appoint an experienced Company Commercial Solicitor to join its expanding commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to advise a diverse client base of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and investors on a wide range of strategic corporate and commercial matters while taking ownership of your own caseload.

You will be involved in advising on:

  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Shareholder agreements
  • Corporate restructures
  • Commercial contracts
  • Business sales and purchases
  • Intellectual property and data protection matters

The role will see you working closely with business owners to provide commercially driven advice that supports growth, protects business interests, and helps clients achieve their long-term objectives.

The Candidate

The firm is keen to hear from Company Commercial Solicitors with at least 5 years' PQE and a solid grounding in corporate and commercial law. Experience acting for owner-managed businesses and SMEs would be highly advantageous, together with the ability to manage transactions confidently from instruction through to completion.

You will be a commercially astute lawyer with:

  • Excellent technical ability
  • Strong drafting skills
  • A pragmatic approach to problem-solving

The successful candidate will enjoy building long-term client relationships, identifying opportunities to develop business, and working collaboratively within a close-knit and ambitious team.
