Our client is one of the UK’s leading recycling and waste management companies. Based in London, it now seeks interim support on a short-term basis (c.2months) to provide administrative and company secretarial support services to the company’s Legal and Company Secretarial functions. This person will report directly to the GC/Co Sec. They require someone who is immediately available to join who can focus on supporting the team with more of the day to day company secretarial work. A full job description is available on request but some key duties are outlined below.
- Provide support for company secretarial function, including filing confirmation statements; Companies House filings such as director appointments and resignations, resolutions, PSC updates etc; preparing board minutes; maintaining company books; updating structure charts.
- Setting up Board and Committee meetings and managing catering.
- Access online filing and information services as necessary including making land registry searches, filing company forms online and obtaining financial information on companies.
- Organise and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner, including managing the contracts database.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and reservations.
- Prepare and arrange signatures for contracts as required.
- Coordinate legal team travel arrangements including transportation and accommodation.

The successful candidate will need to be available for a July start and is likely to have some or most of the following experience and qualities;

- Some proven company secretarial assistant experience and/or qualification
- Minimum 2-3 years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with routinely shifting demands
- High degree of attention to detail
- Proactive, discreet, and diplomatic
