As part of this journey, we are seeking an exceptional Company Secretary to support DBTH on its continuing journey to strengthen leadership, governance and organisational effectiveness, providing expert governance advice and support at the heart of our DBTH Team.
We are looking for someone who is calm, credible and forward-thinking, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to build confidence and trusted relationships with board members, governors and colleagues across the organisation.
As the successful candidate, you will play a central role in ensuring strong and effective corporate governance across the Trust, providing high-quality support to the Board of Directors, Council of Governors and Executive Team.
You will lead a small team and be someone who is practical, proactive and delivery-focused, with the ability to work accurately and effectively in a fast-paced and complex environment.

Working closely with the Chair, Chief Executive, Board of Directors and Council of Governors, you will help ensure the Trust complies with all relevant legal, constitutional and regulatory requirements associated with Foundation Trust status.
You will also make a significant contribution to the effectiveness of the Board and Council of Governors by providing clear, professional advice and support on a wide range of governance and legislative matters.
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the Chair, Chief Executive and senior leadership team, contributing directly to the leadership and direction of the Trust.
