Role Overview

This FTSE SmallCap listed company with operations in the UK and Southeast Asia is now seeking to recruit a new Company Secretary on a permanent basis. The role is to be offered on a part-time basis with consideration being given to 3 or 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

This is a great example of a standalone, autonomous Co Sec role, where you'll need to turn your hand to everything from supporting the Board to covering off all the daily administrative tasks. It will best fit someone used to operating in this way as opposed to someone used to working as part of a large Secretariat team. You'll need to be a Chartered Secretary with excellent working knowledge of the UK listing rules, UK governance code and Companies Act. You'll of course need to be very organised, used to prioritising tasks in line with the corporate calendar.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
