Job Details
The Compensation & Benefits Consultant is responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of the Compensation and Benefits module within Oracle HCM Cloud. This role involves:

- Collaborating with HR and business stakeholders to configure:
- Salary structures
- Bonus plans
- Benefits programs
- Incentive compensation
- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal regulations.
- Supporting system enhancements, integrations, and reporting needs.
The Synergy programme is delivering a shared-services back-office HR, Finance, and Payroll transformation as one solution for multiple government departments. This modernizes the employee experience for 250,000 civil service users, spanning diverse roles such as:
- High-Court Judges
- Flood defence workers
- Prison officers
- Customs Officials
- Jobcentre staff
- Veterinary workers
The scope includes transforming all aspects of HR best practice, including:
- Performance management
- Knowledge and skills

Key Responsibilities
• Experience with Oracle Compensation & Benefits module • Strong experience in configuring:
- Salary structures
- Incentive programs
- Compensation cycles • Knowledge of:
- Total Compensation Statements
- Workforce Compensation Plans
- Workforce compensation cycles and eligibility profiles • Proficiency in Fast Formulas for complex compensation rules and calculations • Hands-on experience with:
- HCM Data Loader (HDL)
- HCM Extracts
- BI Publisher
- OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) • Understanding of integration with:
- Payroll
- Core HR
- Absence Management • Experience working with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for third-party system integration is a plus.
