Job Details

The Compensation & Benefits Consultant is responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of the Compensation and Benefits module within Oracle HCM Cloud. This role involves:

  • Collaborating with HR and business stakeholders to configure:
    • Salary structures
    • Bonus plans
    • Benefits programs
    • Incentive compensation

The Synergy programme is delivering a shared-services back-office HR, Finance, and Payroll transformation as one solution for multiple government departments. This modernizes the employee experience for 250,000 civil service users, spanning diverse roles such as:

  • Flood defence workers
  • Prison officers
  • Customs Officials
  • Jobcentre staff
  • Veterinary workers

The scope includes transforming all aspects of HR best practice, including:

  • Performance management
  • Knowledge and skills

Key Responsibilities

• Experience with Oracle Compensation & Benefits module • Strong experience in configuring:

  • Salary structures
  • Incentive programs
  • Compensation cycles • Knowledge of:
  • Total Compensation Statements
  • Workforce Compensation Plans
  • Workforce compensation cycles and eligibility profiles • Proficiency in Fast Formulas for complex compensation rules and calculations • Hands-on experience with:
  • HCM Data Loader (HDL)
  • HCM Extracts
  • BI Publisher
  • OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) • Understanding of integration with:
  • Payroll
  • Core HR
  • Absence Management • Experience working with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for third-party system integration is a plus.
