A leading international firm is seeking a competition lawyer to join its expanding team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. This role offers high-quality, varied work within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
The Opportunity
You’ll work across a broad and stimulating range of matters, including:
- Competition and merger advisory work
- Behavioural and regulatory investigations
- Competition litigation
- Trade, sanctions and wider regulatory issues
- Public procurement, subsidy control and consumer protection queries
You’ll also work closely with colleagues across key sectors such as technology, life sciences, energy and utilities, gaining exposure to cross-border matters and multidisciplinary projects.

From the outset, you’ll be trusted with meaningful responsibility, direct client contact, and opportunities to contribute to business development. The team champions professional growth, modern working practices and the use of legal tech and AI to support efficient service delivery.
About You
- 2-4 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) in competition or regulatory law
- Strong drafting skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Commercial awareness and a practical, solutions-focused mindset
- A collaborative, proactive approach
- Interest in developing expertise across multiple areas of competition and regulatory work
- A positive, adaptable attitude and enthusiasm for working within a growing team
