CompEX Electrician
CompEX Electrician - Aberdeen
Responsible for all electrical plant and equipment repairs in accordance with company procedures while supporting the overall delivery of the Group’s business objectives, implementing departmental procedures aligned with Company standards.
This role requires strong characterization, involving interaction with:
- Internal colleagues at various levels
- External parties
- Clients within the offshore industry
Key Deliverables
Servicing & Maintenance & Testing
- General plant & equipment repairs, including compliance with procedures and manufacturers’ guidelines
- Management & maintenance of electrical stores, including:
- Accuracy of stock levels
- Completion of routine quarterly audits
- Assistance with PUWER & LOLER compliance to ensure adherence to applicable legislation
- Function testing of 3rd-Party Electrical Plant & Equipment before mobilisation
- Ensuring accurate maintenance records are maintained
- Supporting compilation of check sheets, aiding stores manifesting
- Developing the technical skills and experience of colleagues

Recording & Certification
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records
- Ensuring plant & equipment functionality testing and operational readiness before dispatch
- Compiling certification packs, including operators’ instructions, ensuring validity & compliance
- Guaranteeing comprehensive records that align with Company objectives

- GCSEs or Higher education, or experience commensurate with the role

Essential Experience
- Experience in a similar role

- Knowledge of Altrad’s range of services and their provision to clients
Additional Requirements
- Offshore travel as required
