Complex Care Assistant

CCH – Complex Care Assistant (Burton Latimer)

Company Description

Pay:

  • £13 per hour (days)
  • £14 per hour (nights)

Shifts: Day and waking night shifts available

  • Morning: 8 am – 8 pm
  • Evening/Night: 8 pm – 8 am
  • Rolling rota

Job Description

What You’ll Do

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Assistant to provide crucial support to a client with complex care needs in his Burton Latimer home. Our client's profile includes:

  • Living with Motor Neurone Disease
  • Living together with his wife and a small pet dog

The ideal candidate must embody care, kindness, patience, and strong clinical communication skills.

As part of this care team, you’ll deliver a high standard of personalised care for someone navigating advanced and intricate care challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tracheostomy care
  • PEG (Gastrostomy) support – for medication and feeding
  • Ventilator management
  • Moving and handling assistance for safe and personalised mobility
  • Suction and cough assist to maintain respiratory health
  • Catheter care
  • Confidently managing and supporting daily routines

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will ideally have:

  • Direct experience in care, ideally within the complex care arena.
