Complex Care Assistant

Care Assistant (Complex Care) – Wellingborough – Waking Night Shifts Pay: £14.00 per hour Shifts: 7 pm – 7 am | 2 waking night shifts per week | Monday to Sunday

Job Description

What You Will Do

In the client’s family home, you’ll provide hands-on support to deliver person-centred, high-quality care—helping them lead a fulfilling life through activities like since there was none provided, visiting coffee shops, walks, music, and Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

We’re looking for a care professional brimming with energy, empathy, and enthusiasm. Your role demands you:

  • Build meaningful relationships
  • Demonstrate observant, responsive, and proactive care
  • Maintain a calm, reassuring approach in all situations

Key Responsibilities

  • Ventilator management
  • Administering medication via nasogastric tube
  • Personal care (including hygiene assistance)
  • Manual handling (private training provided)
  • Seizure management

We provide comprehensive training and ongoing clinical support to develop your expertise in complex care.

Qualifications & Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous complex care experience [beneficial]—though not mandatory.
  • Full nurse-led training and support will be provided to refine skills.
  • Key traits:
