Complex Care Assistant – Alcedo Care (York, Acomb & Haxby)
Excellent rates of pay £15.00 – £15.50 PLUS Pension PLUS Holiday Pay (rolled-up pay rate of £17.31 to £17.89)
Ideal work pattern
- Expected average hours: 20 to 40+ hours per week
- Flexibility for short shifts, 12-hour shifts (days or nights)

About This Role
Core Responsibilities
As a Complex Care Assistant, you’ll provide high-quality, person-centred support for individuals with complex health needs, including:
- Spinal injuries
- Respiratory conditions
- Neurological disorders
Your Support & Skills Development
We’ll offer: ✅ Expert training from our in-house nursing team ✅ Competency sign-off for specialised tasks, including:
- PEG feeding assistance
- Suction care
- Tracheostomy support
- Medication administration
- Mobility assistance
- Meal preparation & household support

Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have:
- At least 3 months’ hands-on care experience in a UK care setting or family support role
