Care Assistant – Driver with Own Vehicle Chesterfield & surrounding areas
Pay & Perks
- Hourly Rate: £14.24 – £15.69/hour (including holiday pay)
- Travel Expense: 30p per mile (reimbursement for client-to-client travel)

The Role
This is a homecare position with driving responsibilities. Your day-to-day focuses on:
- Providing person-centred support for vulnerable and palliative clients at home.
- personal care, medication assistance, and nutrition advice.
- Travelling between client visits per shift.
- Collaborating solo or with a 2-person team (based on client needs).

Shift Flexibility
- Available: Full-time & part-time (flexible hours to suit YOU)
- Weekend Availability: Mandatory
- Commitment: Shifts allocated based on your preferences + business demand—once booked, reliable attendance is required.

Requirements
Essential
- A full UK driving licence + access to your own vehicle.
- Competition recognition + passion for care.
- Right to work independently in the UK (no sponsorship).
Desirable
- At least 3 months UK care experience (Paid or as a Routesto.ac.uk cadet).
