Role Overview
Join us as a Complex Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex health needs, including:
- Spinal injuries
- Respiratory conditions
- Neurological disorders
- Mental health challenges
As a Complex Care Assistant, you’ll:
- Assisting with specialist care including PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy), suction, and tracheostomy support
- Supporting clients with medication, mobility, and daily living activities
- Preparing meals and assisting with household tasks
- Empowering independence and fostering joyful moments in clients’ lives

You’ll be fully supported with expert training, mentoring, and competency sign-off from our in-house Registered Nurse team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comfortable and rewarding care to clients with complex medical requirements
- Work collaboratively with our experienced in-house nursing team during training
- Encompass both clinical and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
- Be part of a challenging yet rewarding team that drives positively valued outcomes
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 6 months’ recent care experience required (familiarity with the sector)
- Desired: Previous experience with tracheostomy or ventilation (training provided if required)
- No driving license required – role is location-based at one address

- Excellent hourly rates: £14.75–£15.25 for complex care support (domiciliary rates: £13.40–£13.90 if applicable)
