Complex Care Assistant – Egremont (12-Hour Shifts)

Role Overview

Join us as a Complex Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex health needs, including:

  • Spinal injuries
  • Respiratory conditions
  • Neurological disorders
  • Mental health challenges

As a Complex Care Assistant, you’ll:

  • Assisting with specialist care including PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy), suction, and tracheostomy support
  • Supporting clients with medication, mobility, and daily living activities
  • Preparing meals and assisting with household tasks
  • Empowering independence and fostering joyful moments in clients’ lives

You’ll be fully supported with expert training, mentoring, and competency sign-off from our in-house Registered Nurse team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comfortable and rewarding care to clients with complex medical requirements
  • Work collaboratively with our experienced in-house nursing team during training
  • Encompass both clinical and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
  • Be part of a challenging yet rewarding team that drives positively valued outcomes

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 6 months’ recent care experience required (familiarity with the sector)
  • Desired: Previous experience with tracheostomy or ventilation (training provided if required)
  • No driving license required – role is location-based at one address

  • Excellent hourly rates: £14.75–£15.25 for complex care support (domiciliary rates: £13.40–£13.90 if applicable)
