Complex Care Healthcare Worker

Location: Wynyard, County Durham

Shift Pattern: Day and Night Shifts

Pay Rates (HCA): £15 to £17 per hour

All candidates MUST be drivers.

About The Role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to support a lady in her home environment following a hypoxic brain injury. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in her daily life while promoting dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing, working closely with her family and multi-disciplinary team.

She requires 2:1 support with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, mobility, meal preparation, feeding, and accessing the community. You will also support her with therapy programs and activities such as physiotherapy and hydrotherapy, while building a positive and engaging relationship.

The role includes monitoring her health and wellbeing, administering medication, supporting clinical needs, and responding appropriately to any concerns. Strong communication and listening skills are essential due to her speech difficulties, and we are looking for individuals who are friendly, patient, and person-centered.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
