Complex Care Nurse

You will play a vital role in supporting clients with complex health needs, ensuring clinical excellence and promoting independence and dignity wherever possible.

·       Premium £25-35 per hour depending on experience additional mileage pay

Duties will include:  

·       Reporting to the clinical lead or regional clinical lead for any changes in care, health or wellbeing   

·       Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, escalating concerns.  

·       Recording accurate digital nursing notes ensuring accuracy.  

·       Build strong professional relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote holistic, patient-centred care.  

·       Being able to recognise and escalate any safeguarding concerns   

Requirements of a Complex Care RN:  

·       Current NMC registration (Registered Nurse – Adult) with no restrictions.  

·       More than 2 years’ experience in complex care or a community setting.  

·       Experienced skills in Urinary catheterisation insertion and management, stoma management, Enteral feeding (PEG / NG), Tracheostomy care, Respiratory care (inc. cough assist, oxygen therapy and ventilation) and wound management

·        Willingness and ability to travel in and around North/North-West London  

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  

·       Confident in their ability to work autonomously and within a team.  

·       Strong commitment to safeguarding and patient dignity.  

Desirable Skills  

·       Full UK Driver license with their own vehicle   

·       Male and/or female urinary catheterisation insertion   

·       Experience in teaching and mentoring care staff.
