£12.71 – £13.21 per hour (Higher rate applicable upon completion of training & being signed off as competent in tracheostomy & ventilation care)
About the Services
Chapel House
Nestled on Chapel Road, Chapel House (formerly a school) provides a warm, homely atmosphere with:
- 10 personalised bedrooms
- Spacious lounge with daily activity
- 5 bathrooms tailored to resident needs
- Private sensory garden
- On-site laundry & nutritious home-cooked meals
Chapel House offers round-the-clock nursing care for individuals with acquired brain injuries under 3L Care, a service of We Change Lives. A person-centred approach ensures all support is uniquely tailored.
Crook
Once a warehouse and community chapel, Crook is now a six-bed home for individuals with complex health needs and disabilities, including acquired brain injuries. Key features include:
- Wheelchair-friendly access via ramp
- Spacious lounge & dining area
- Private garden with a summer house
- Six light, well-furnished bedrooms (encouraging personalisation)
- On-site kitchen (home-cooked meals)
- On-site laundry & laundry facilities
The service is entirely person-centred, ensuring every individual’s needs and choices are prioritised.

A Day in the Life of a Support Worker
No two days are the same—just like the people you’ll support! Your role revolves around person-centred care, adapting to the unique needs of your residents:
- Personalised support – assisting with daily living, behavioural support, and fostering independence & confidence
- Positive relationships – building trust through communication and empathy
- Celebrating progress – recognising and encouraging even small milestones
- Comprehensive training – covering personal care, behavioural support, and specialist care needs (e.g., tracheostomy & ventilation assistance upon certification)
You’ll work closely with individuals who have learning disabilities and complex care requirements.
