Complex Case Manager – Argenti Care Technology

Location: West London (Westest London Council) with occasional national travel Type: Permanent, Full-time, Hybrid (4 days minimum in-office, 5 days possible on client site) Working Hours: 40 hours per week (9am–6pm, Mon–Fri)


About the Role

Are you passionate about using innovation and technology to enhance the lives of vulnerable individuals and solve complex challenges? PA Consulting’s Argenti Partnership (an award-winning Technology Enabled Care/Telecare initiative) is seeking a Complex Case Manager to apply cutting-edge solutions to bespoke social care needs within Northwest London Council.

This role sits at the heart of our personalised Care Technology offer, focusing on deliberate, person-centred innovations for individuals with unique or complex needs. You’ll partner with social care professionals, co-design tailored solutions, and champion independence, safety, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Core Accountabilities

  • Complex Case Coordination:

    • Process complex Care Technology referrals, collaborating with social care teams to understand needs, risks, and aspirations.
    • Propose and evaluate innovative solutions (or sources for new tech) if existing options fall short.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Lead conversations with social care professionals to co-design bespoke technology-enabled solutions.
    • Ensure alignment between technical feasibility, evidence-based practices, and user-centred outcomes.
  • Specialist Installations & Deployment:

    • Install and manage advanced Care Technology in settings like supported living schemes, virtual support systems, and family environments.
  • Outcome-Centric Advisory:

    • Guide practitioners to define clear needs specifications for high-complexity referrals.
    • Champion person-centred results that enhance independence, safety, and quality of life.

  • Knowledge Sharing & Innovation:

    • Document insights from complex cases to contribute to best practices.
    • Work with the Argenti Innovation Specialist to test and refine care tech solutions.
  • Client Reporting:

    • Report to the Argenti Programme Manager, coordinating across Argenti services and council partners.

Requirements

Essential Criteria

  • Experience supporting vulnerable people in health or social care settings (e.g., case management, care coordination, frontline practice).
  • Familiarity with care technology (e.g., telecare, TEC Systems, or related tech solutions).
  • Motivation to drive transformative change for vulnerable populations via innovative approaches.
  • Strong communication skills: Ability to engage independently with stakeholders (e.g., care teams, users, providers) and create reports/materilas.
  • Technical aptitude: Open to learning new technologies and integrating them into care pathways.
  • Collaborative mindset: Thrives in cross-disciplinary partnerships, with strong project management and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving mindset: Comfortable with complex, non-standard cases and creative solutions.
  • Analytical skills: Ability to evaluate needs/risks and propose effective interventions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Desirable (Not Mandatory)

  • Experience in adult social care within a council environment.
  • Hands-on experience with use or installation of care technology.
  • Background working with monitoring/evaluation organisations.
