Complex Needs Outreach Tutor needed in Staffordshire
About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Outreach Tutor to deliver bespoke education packages on a 1:1 basis to young people with complex needs who are not currently attending school.
As an Outreach Tutor, you will create, plan, and deliver highly personalised lessons that focus on building confidence and engagement in core subjects such as English and Maths. Many of these learners have significant additional needs and may be fully reliant on adults for care, including the use of wheelchairs.
This role is ideal for a tutor who is passionate about inclusive education and can adapt lessons to meet individual needs. Experience with communication systems such as Makaton and PECS would be highly beneficial.
Your role will involve reintroducing structure and routine into the student's day, supporting both academic and life skills development. Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to monitor progress and provide ongoing support to ensure effective learning outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
