Compliance Analyst
Compliance Analyst – Vacancy in London Office
We are currently recruiting for a brand-new Compliance Analyst vacancy in the London office of a leading US law firm.
Working as part of the global Client Intake team, the successful candidate will assist with the administrative onboarding of new clients and matters, with a focus on assessing know-your-client (KYC) due diligence under applicable anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
Duties
Supporting the firm’s AML processes, including:
- Assisting with AML processes for new and existing clients, including ongoing client monitoring and sanctions checks
- Responding to AML-related queries from lawyers and staff worldwide
- Ensuring adequate AML documentation is obtained for all new clients
- Collaborating with Compliance Attorneys to perform due diligence on low-, medium-, and high-risk clients and matters, escalating risks to the Firm’s MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer)
- Monitoring risk training records and updating necessary documentation, including:
- AML manuals
- Office Risk Assessments
- AML intake forms
- Keeping abreast of changes in UK and EU AML regulations and associated regulatory guidance
- Assisting with key compliance-based projects as required

Suitable Candidates Must Have
- Prior experience in a similar role within a law firm or professional services environment
- Knowledge of international AML environments
- Strong teamworking skills
- Familiarity with Intapp Open (essential)
