Introduction
Do you have experience in Compliance and Data Management? We are looking for an experienced Monitoring Officer to join our team.
About the Role
Lewisham Works is seeking a Compliance and Data Officer to help develop, implement, and manage:
- Audit, compliance, and risk strategies for the DWP-funded Connect To Work Programme
- A quality assurance framework, ensuring alignment with:
- IPS/SEQF frameworks
- DWP/CLF requirements
Your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and maintaining compliance standards
- Collaborating with delivery staff to uphold SEQF/IPS standards—supporting residents in securing decent work
- Shaping a new programme with meaningful impact on disadvantaged Londoners
This is an exciting opportunity to combine compliance expertise with data-driven results in a supportive, high-profile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Structure and Delivery
- Lead by example, translating guidance into operational practice with a focus on quality and performance
- Conduct field mentoring/case reviews, quality assurance fidelity reviews, workshops, and learning networks
- Monitor and report on project performance and outcomes
- Take line management responsibility for 2 triage officers

Compliance and Data Management
- Ensure full alignment with SEQF/IPS frameworks and DWP/CLF standards
- Develop and enforce systems and processes that guarantee adherence to compliance requirements
- Support internal self-assessments and externally assessed fidelity reviews
- Maintain an audit trail to reflect rigor in programme oversight
Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Proven experience in compliance monitoring and data management
- Strong attention to detail, with a proactive, organised approach
- Familiarity with supported employment fidelity frameworks
- Ability to translate complex standards into practical operational guidelines

Location
Predominantly office-based at Catscyllium Town Hall (Catford Town Hall) with regular visits to community-based locations within Lewisham.

Remuneration
£44,235 – £45,852 per annum (P01) – Offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP), unless qualifying for a current salary match (subject to evidence).
