Job Description
Our compliance team is growing and we are looking for a Compliance Assistant to work on a part-time basis.
This is a varied role and suited to someone who is highly organised, dependable, and confident working with sensitive information. Experience in a similar role within the legal industry or financial services is desirable.
Working with the Compliance Manager, and together reporting to the firm's COLP, you will be responsible for:
- Helping to maintain and update firm-wide compliance policies and procedures
- Conducting client due diligence checks and risk reviews (Thirdfort referrals)
- Supporting audits and internal checks such as file reviews
- Co-ordinating compliance training sessions
- Providing support in the monitoring of complaints, claims, and data breach registers

You'll Be Known For Having
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Confident communication skills - both written and verbal
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- A professional, approachable, supportive, and team-focused attitude
- A passion for championing a strong culture of compliance and accountability
- Ideally (but not essentially) legal or financial services compliance experience
