Compliance Assurance Partner
Compliance Assurance Specialist (UK) Aon’s UK Risk & Compliance Team
Do you have experience in Compliance Assurance, Risk or Internal Audit within insurance, pensions, investments, or another FCA-regulated financial services environment?

In this Compliance Assurance role, you’ll provide independent assurance across Aon’s UK regulated businesses, collaborating with Risk & Compliance Business Partners and senior stakeholders. Focus on refining regulatory frameworks, mitigating conduct risk, and supporting proactive outcomes for customers, clients, and the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Compliance Assurance reviews aligned with the annual plan.
- Evaluate regulatory compliance and conduct risk controls, offering valuable insights and constructive challenge to business leaders.
- Lead assurance workflows—from planning to testing, reporting, action tracking, and follow-up.
- Build strong relationships with teams across Commercial Risk, Reinsurance, and Health, Wealth & Talent.
- Refine the Compliance Assurance Plan through engagement with business units and regulatory analysis.

What We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates will bring experience in:
- Compliance Assurance, Monitoring, Risk or Internal Audit—preferably in financial services.
- A robust understanding of UK regulatory requirements (e.g., FCA), with the ability to apply diverse rules pragmatically.
- Familiarity with general insurance, pensions or investments.
- Stakeholder management skills—credibility to engage with senior leaders across the business.
- Strong aptitude for analytical challenges, reporting, and project delivery under tight deadlines.
