We're now recruiting a Compliance & Assurance Surveyor to join our Engineering Safety & Compliance team.
Reporting to the Engineering Safety & Compliance Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the Jet2.com Compliance & Assurance system remains fully compliant with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) requirements. You'll support a culture of continuous improvement by monitoring compliance and providing assurance across all Continuing Airworthiness and Maintenance activities.
Working alongside experienced engineering and compliance professionals, you'll make a direct contribution to maintaining the highest standards across our operation while helping millions of customers enjoy their well-earned holidays.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting audits, inspections and reviews of aircraft maintenance processes across the business.
- Investigating maintenance errors and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Producing audit reports and issuing recommendations, compliance notices and compliance deficiency reports.
- Supporting compliance and assurance enquiries from internal teams.
- Contributing to the ongoing maintenance of key engineering expositions, including the CAME, MOE, MTOE, Compliance & Assurance Manual and associated procedures.
- Promoting best practice and driving continuous improvement across Engineering Compliance.
What you’ll have:

It Is Essential That You Have
- A B1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence, or a relevant Aeronautical Engineering degree.
- Previous experience within an aviation compliance, continuing airworthiness or engineering quality environment.
- A good understanding of Continuing Airworthiness Regulations and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
- A full, valid driving licence and a valid passport - this role requires travel to Jet2.com bases and supplier facilities within the UK and overseas.
In addition, you will have excellent analytical, communication and report-writing skills, and the confidence to work both independently and build effective relationships across the business.
