Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and adaptable Compliance Business Analyst to support the ongoing development and administration of Zuno’s compliance framework and governance activities.

Reporting to the Senior Risk & Compliance Manager, the successful candidate will play a central role in:

  • Coordination of compliance activities
  • Maintenance of governance records
  • Support for monitoring and assurance programmes
  • Embedding compliance requirements in daily processes

This hybrid role combines compliance administration, stakeholder coordination, reporting, and operational support. The Analyst will act as the primary point of contact for compliance-related matters, ensuring:

  • Clear communication, implementation, and maintenance of policies, controls, regulatory obligations, and governance requirements across the business
  • Flexibility to assist with active governance, risk, quality, and Health & Safety initiatives
  • Adaptability to evolving business priorities

Key Responsibilities

Compliance Administration & Governance

  • Support day-to-day compliance administration, including governance framework oversight
  • Maintain compliance framework documentation, action logs, governance trackers, and regulatory records
  • Coordinate policy reviews, approvals, and document management
  • Assist in preparing management information, dashboards, and governance reporting
  • Handle compliance- and audit-related requests from regulatory bodies, partners, and internal teams
  • Document compliance activities, monitoring outcomes, and remediation actions
  • Support compliance training records and competency tracking

Monitoring, Assurance & Reporting

  • Assist in compliance monitoring, quality assurance, and control testing
  • Coordinate monitoring schedules, evidence gathering, and reporting requirements
  • Support thematic reviews, customer journey assessments, and process audits
  • Track findings, recommendations, and remedial actions to completion
  • Analyse data trends to identify emerging risks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Produce routine compliance reports and management information

Operational Compliance Support

  • Serve as a central compliance point of contact for operational stakeholders
  • Support implementation and embedding of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with compliance awareness initiatives and governance standards
  • Ensure customer-facing processes align with regulatory expectations and internal controls
  • Review complaints, feedback, and operational incidents to pinpoint conduct or compliance risks
  • Collaborate with teams to foster a positive compliance culture

Continuous Improvement & Business Support

  • Contribute to governance frameworks, policies, and operational controls development
  • Support projects focused on compliance effectiveness, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes
  • Assist the Risk & Compliance team with ad-hoc reviews, investigations, and business initiatives
  • Take ownership of administrative and coordination tasks for timely delivery of compliance activities

Health & Safety Support

  • Assist the Health & Safety Advisor with:
    • Maintenance of health and safety records, documentation, and registers
    • Monitoring actions arising from audits, inspections, incidents, and risk assessments
    • Coordination of training records and compliance with corrective measures
  • Promote awareness of health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives, encouraging proper incident reporting per company procedures.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience with maintaining records, trackers, reports, and management information
  • Ability to analyse information to identify trends and support problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Google Suite and task management tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Desirable: Previous experience in compliance, governance, risk assessment, quality assurance, administration, or business support roles
