Overview
The Compliance & Business Support Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business by ensuring compliance systems are maintained, training requirements are managed, and administrative processes run efficiently.
This role combines compliance coordination with operational business support, helping to maintain the company's high standards across health and safety, quality management and workforce competence.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while working closely with the Operations Team and wider business.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance
- Maintain and manage the company Training Matrix, ensuring all mandatory and role-specific training remains current.
- Coordinate the booking, renewal and recording of employee and subcontractor training.
- Maintain accurate compliance records using Monday.com and other company management systems.
- Support the ongoing administration of the company's Integrated Management System (IMS), including ISO standards.
- Assist with maintaining documentation relating to ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Prepare documentation and evidence for internal and external audits.
- Monitor compliance deadlines and proactively arrange renewals and updates.
- Ensure compliance records are accurate, current and readily available.

Health & Safety Support
- Attend Health & Safety meetings and accurately record meeting minutes and actions.
- Monitor progress of agreed actions and follow up with relevant departments.
- Assist with the administration of company health and safety documentation.
- Coordinate subcontractor compliance information, ensuring required documentation and training records are received before commencement of works.
- Support the implementation of company health, safety and quality initiatives.
Business Support
- Provide general administrative support to the Team.
- Assist with maintaining company records, registers and operational documentation.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets and meeting documentation as required.
- Support the coordination of operational activities and business processes.
- Manage electronic filing systems and ensure documentation is stored accurately.
- Liaise with employees, subcontractors, training providers and external stakeholders professionally.
- Assist with other administrative duties to support the efficient running of the business.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in an administrative or business support role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
- Professional and proactive approach.

Desirable
- Previous experience within the construction industry.
- Experience managing training records or competency matrices.
- Knowledge of ISO Management Systems.
- Experience using Monday.com or similar workflow management software.
- Experience supporting Health & Safety or Compliance functions.
- Understanding of subcontractor compliance requirements.
