At Greenzone, we're looking for a Compliance Coordinator to join our team in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
Working from our premises in Newark, Nottinghamshire, this role is ideal for a highly organized and motivated individual with extensive administrative experience.

What You’ll Do
The primary focus of this role is assisting in ensuring compliance with health and safety, fire safety, and general company requirements. Key responsibilities include:
Compliance
- Completing desktop supplier audits for onboarding and at appropriate intervals
- Maintaining records of supplier audits in line with company requirements
- Liaising with the Supply Chain team to ensure effective management
- Monitoring suppliers’ operations and performance while adhering to company policies
- Staying updated on legal changes in waste management, health and safety, and fire safety

Waste Management Compliance
- Keeping up-to-date knowledge of waste management laws, guidelines, and best practices
- Following company processes to ensure compliance with waste-related recording and systems
- Reviewing and updating supplier documentation to align with company software
- Identifying non-compliant suppliers and alerting internal teams to address issues
Health & Safety, and Fire Safety
- Maintaining awareness of relevant health and safety regulations and best practices
- Ensuring systems, processes, and policies are adhered to for employee, visitor, and contractor safety
- Monitoring compliance with fire safety measures
ISO Standards
- Supporting administration of current ISO standards (45001, 9001, 14001, 27001)
- Enforcing quality control standards as required
- Conducting and managing internal audits
Commercial & General Responsibilities
- Efficiently using company resources to achieve objectives
- Collaborating with other departments to support business growth
- Driving continuous improvement in processes and systems

Requirements
About You
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Strong record-keeping skills
- Contractual and proactive approach
Skills
- Excellent communication (both oral and written)
- IT-confident (training provided where necessary)
- Comfortable working with digital systems
Experience
- Desirable: Experience in waste management roles or supply chain regulation
- Experience in maintaining ISO standards (preferably 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001)
Qualifications
- Desirable:
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification
- Fire Warden certifications
- First Aid certification
