Hybrid working available
Hyde is looking for a Compliance Data Administrator (Safer Homes Officer) to join our team in Chichester. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration, data management, or compliance experience who wants to help keep homes safe, services running smoothly, and records accurate.
You will support our Safer Homes programmes by managing compliance data, processing certification, producing reports, and helping to resolve access issues so that safety checks and works can be completed on time. You will work closely with Contract Managers, contractors, colleagues, and residents, making sure information is accurate, risks are escalated, and customers receive a reliable service.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will:
- Manage Safer Homes databases, ensuring compliance data is accurate, up to date, and maintained in line with statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements.
- Process, check, and analyse certification and programme information, identifying gaps, anomalies, or risks and escalating issues where needed.
- Produce reports and dashboards to support contract monitoring, programme performance, and decision-making.
- Support Contract Managers with the delivery of safety programmes, including gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos, and other property compliance workstreams.
- Lead on no-access and referral cases, liaising with residents, contractors, and internal teams to arrange appointments, resolve issues, and support safeguarding requirements.
- Monitor compliance with statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations, taking ownership of queries, and helping to drive issues through to resolution.
- Provide administrative and operational support, including raising works orders, processing invoices, and maintaining clear records.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
