About the Role

We are seeking a detail-focused Compliance Data Officer to join our team in Portsmouth. This is a key role supporting accurate, reliable compliance data and ensuring 100% compliance and audit readiness.

This is a full-time permanent position, working 37 hours per week. We offer a flexible approach to working between home and the office, with a minimum of 20% office-based requirement to facilitate collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities and Key Duties

Core Compliance Data Management

  • Maintain and enhance the accuracy and integrity of compliance data, ensuring 100% regulatory alignment.
  • Extract, analyse, and update data within IPC, ensuring records are current and audit-ready.
  • Lead large-scale data cleansing exercises, property re-categorisation projects, and exception reporting processes.
  • Monitor and resolve triple-report exceptions and maintain asset/new build datasets via IPC and other systems.

Performance & Report Management

  • Support creation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly compliance scorecards.
  • Develop standard and ad-hoc reports via IPC, BI dashboards, and Master Query for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to managing data quality for housing stock stockpiles, ensuring reliability and actionable insights.

Requirements & Skills

Technical Proficiency

  • Proven experience working with databases, dashboards, and scorecard development.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong IT proficiencies required.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and comfortably handle large datasets.
  • Must be adept at collating, analysing, and verifying complex data for clarity and accuracy.

  • Strong communication skills for internal/external stakeholders.
