We are currently recruiting for a Compliance Engineer to join a busy engineering / manufacturing business.
In this role, you will lead compliance activities ensuring alignment with key regulations and standards including the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), Machinery Regulation, and relevant EN/IEC standards. Working closely with engineering, quality, and leadership teams, you will embed compliance throughout the product lifecycle, maintain audit-ready documentation, conduct gap analyses, and support the development of robust, compliant design practices.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in compliance, regulatory, or standards-focused engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of industrial product compliance, safety, regulatory, or cyber security requirements.
- Experience interpreting and applying regulations and standards in a practical engineering environment.
- Excellent documentation, audit preparation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Any experience in the below would be highly desirable:

- Experience with the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), Machinery Regulation, and EN/IEC standards.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Exposure to regulated sectors such as defence, aerospace, or similar industries.

This role will be 5 days in the office and offering a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 plus benefits.
