Salary: £10,074 to £10,395 per annum for 14.8 hours per week

Fixed-Term contract until 31/12/2026.

Role Summary

You’ll be playing a key role in supporting the effective operation of our Corporate Property Maintenance.

Working as part of a busy helpdesk team, your role will involve coordinating repair requests, planned preventative maintenance and compliance related activities. You will ensure that work is prioritised appropriately and delivered against agreed service standards and KPIs. You will be enhancing service delivery and maintaining high standards across our property portfolio, through effective coordination and responsive customer support.

You’ll be helping to ensure that the buildings across our estate are maintained to a safe, compliant and functional standard. You will do this by providing essential administrative and technical support, contributing to the delivery of both reactive and planned maintenance activities, and ensuring statutory obligations and regulatory requirements are met.

What You’ll Do - Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for all property repair queries, giving information and advice to customers and contractors.
  • Allocate work orders to the internal maintenance team and external contractors.
  • Answer queries and provide updates about property repairs and compliance issues.
  • Coordinate and produce works quotations.
  • Check technical reports and certificates supplied by contractors or the in-house team for accuracy.
  • Identify non-compliance issues and any required follow-on works.

What We’re Looking For – Knowledge, Experience & Skills

  • Previous building maintenance or facility management experience is desirable.
  • Working knowledge and experience of helpdesk / office environment.
  • Working knowledge and experience of Computer Aided Facilities Management systems.
  • Good standard of education in Maths and English.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
  • Good ICT skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak fluent English as stated in Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016).

Additional Information

  • This is a part-time position working 14.8 hours per week.
  • This is a fixed-term position until 31/12/2026.
  • Hybrid working (1-2 days in the office).
  • 25 days of annual leave pro rata (additional to bank holidays).
  • Regretfully, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. We are only able to proceed with candidates who already have the right to work in the UK without the need for visa sponsorship.
